Two weeks before med final

You know it's really weird that I have a blog looking to the fact the many stuff that I don't wanne share. I'm thinking now of another approach to use my site. maybe to document stuff. or spread my thoughts.
Recently I started working on the medical student council site for King university students at the domain ksumsc.com. in about maybe extra weeks I'll finish the full functions. it's joomla based, and a pre-made template, so no much work was done. Hussam stepped in giving me his account at template designer company this facilitated the template purchase. my touches going to be later adding the functionalities and marketing the site.
In matter of sites I stopped working on IFMSA-SA.net site because how things turned lately regarding the ifmsa-sa after the national meeting plus my deep faith that adil (the president) is taking advantage of the organization and just won't go away.

Updating my site

After selling my old white macbook I had to move my web software among it the tool I'm updating this site though to my iMac. it took little minutes till I got my shit together and post a new entry, this entry is just a test.

October the fourth, the start of the new year

Written this days ago, but couldn't submit on the spot cuz of the firewall, anyway here I am resubmitting. |

Now I'm burning a DVD, which may take like 20 minutes, sitting in class alone it's 11:30 everybody went down or out and in the room behind me group of students from the same class arguing about sport ... . now I'm a subgroup leader, not a big deal. it really don't have much great into it I already turned down this good guy to join our group because other didn't feel comfortable with the increased number.
Anyway my summer been good maybe one of the best times I ever had in my life. maybe that why I get to feel so bored lately after appreciating what is a REAL fun is. so I skipped meeting with my childhood friends, it start feeling to me we're repeating the same fun that it became a routine. I have enough routine with school don't need something extra.
I felt disturbed with how many knew when I've been doing many people I don't care about, and what bothers me the most that they didn't knew it directly from me. I'll get more reclusive in the next days. also I'm deleting things from existance i my life like Facebook, Messenger .. etc. hope I keep that.

I'll look now for a better sources of entertainment, in a desprate shot I followe m hobby, I already installed my home set, just little few parts yet.

Sync

Just recently found a blog belonged to me, and some old memories, I synced into this site with simple click not copy or paste was done just entered my account and password and this site an my old blog automatically synced.
I'm just glad I can keep my enteries alive.

Information Loss

I had in my life two massive information losses one when I was 14 when I lost my packs of 600 pages of drawings between comics, drawing, a production of 5 years, that resulted in long hiatus which affected my skill.
The second was two years ago when I lost hard disk containing my productions within design company. also other artworks I created among files I gathered among years and memories. The extraction failed repeatedly. The last one resulted that I today have external 4 * 500 GB disks one saved in brother’s just in case.

Today also I had information loss but minor kind, some pictures I supposed to hand today of scientific lab was lost, explaining some procedures. I’ll still try to picture it today and process it. my friend was kind enough to volunteer for the second time as I passed b his house hours ago (3:30AM). as I wrote this I didn’t sleep 18 hours maybe 6 hours later I’ll sleep.

Oh well at least I’m in time-off and finished Ob/Gyn.

Democarcy

Big advancement happened lately in the medicine school, this year there is supposed to be a student council and also elected representative soon. That happen for the first time in King Saud University.

However democracy scenes in Riyadh had been a source of humor to me, maybe because I don’t believe in it to make a big change and also the hypocrisy runs along is just fun to watch. but however it’s good thing maybe it will produce something great in the future.

Another issue I ran through lately is the IFMSA-SA site, as one of NTSD director roles. passed today by the company responsible for the design and reviewed it with them, kindly they accepted my suggestions and in about days I’ll also have to check with them.

Next Saturday is the final exam for Ob/Gyn course after I’ll sort all tasks in all my positions.

19 March Ob/Gyn 2nd month

Been a week since the mid-course OB/Gyn exam, I’m not satisfyed with my score thu the effort I spent. Two weeks is the 2nd and the end course exam I do hope to do well.

Ob/Gyn is interesting especially if you got yourself with great doc, mine is Dr.Hazem AlMandil a hectic demaning doc require long time attandance and also good level of knowledge, his mental punishment method really got me serious with the book, kind of the professor you would like to study under a residency of you’re serious and attending the improve your level.

Lately Covered the Medical Career day documentation also took a role with Technical Assistance. I feel great for how the whole event managed, there are really some responsible students who ran the whole thing smoothly, and also the management support helped big deal. the event gave me experience hopefully I can put into future experience.

That’s for the most of it now.

17 Jan, First day Ob/Gyn

Today my first day in Ob/Gyn, have nothing much to share about since I slept the half of it.
Anyway, I’m feeling little bit don’t want to move much though I’m participating in one intense exercises at the gym. however sitting at home benfit me much. I’m planing to finish my song “Depth” these days I’m putting the final touches arrange the drum rhythem well. final mixing then mastering. Then hopefully I’ll start on writing the melody in my head.
I’m also thinking of doing vocals, yes me, I think I can bypass some obstacles with the level technology reached today but some obstacle I can’t pass is the lyrics, I need good lyrics and I need to write them on my own. I’ll try to look around for inspiration.
Finally, I’ll try now get good mark in Ob/gyn it’s the subject with heaviest hours. I should get good mark.

School

I Am on a week off after two weeks under anesthesia and CPR. very simple course so simple the MCQs were taken from american association.
Till now I spent like four days of the 10 days, two days hanging out the house and two days writing in motivational letter for a department abroad and a day processing pictures and organizing my place.
later I’m of joining gym and have daily plan to practice squash. either else I want to talk to a friend took the USMLE and start to grab my resources. and through all this I’ll try master Yann’s piano piece.
That what’s most of what going on my mind.

This song I’ve listened to about 50 times this week it’s 15 minute long. progressive and a lot of heavy synths it’s nothing like anything else you’ve heard.

First day in CPR and Anesthesia

27th of Dec

is first day in the two weeks course, CPR and Anesthesia, The introduction lecture was about anesthesia, how it’s anesthesiologists is the unknown hero backstage and responsible of monitoring everything and how it kill people just if they messed up with numbers .. my impression is that one boring job not of my interest anyway.

Afternoon was my first time into SICU, Awesome is a word to describe, another thing I’m not disappointed of in our hospital. With whole equipments and monitors you need by every patient and the constant investigations, invasive medical procedures and beeps going around, that job seem to be interesting. It’s good choice if someone wanted to take medicine field but still wanne feel his experience could help patient living more days.

Entry Zero

I’m subscribed to many sites, and have a lot of hobbies, however I do not have a center on the web for me which gathers most my stuff on the web. So thought of starting this site.

Talal07.com was a gift domain which bought to me from a friend who kinda I lost connection with, hopefully she may come around. The idea of the domain name comes from fact that most my usernames on the web is Talal07 hence this choice of domain.

I’ll update the galleries of the site in the coming days most of my artworks online will be gathered here. Microbiology + exams update

A source of stress have been crossed out today, the microbiology practical exam.


Preexam study station: Anatomy museum

I didn't give a time to study for practical more than one day, the exam consisted of :
Parasitology 50% : Moderate and what I mostly studied, somehow I wasn't sure in many answers I did since the exam wasn't mutiple choice question and it was writien and demanded idenfication , Diagnosis, transmission. it was unfamiliar.
Virology 30% : the simplest I should've got full mark but I missed in a stupid question .
Mycology 20% : ZERO, no correct answer only if my luck was a 777 today ( half samples ain't familiar and the other are the hardest with one small mistake at a section cancel all the question) Many recommendation from last year said to not study it .
That is a report of the exam,the last exam this week. the rest of the week are revisions. Tommrow there is anatomy practical revision and Salam too.
Next week we have three final exam, Immunology which will end with the end of this term and so as Salam, and half year for terminology .
After that week the real thing start, two weeks of half year exams with the rest of the subjects "the big subjects" .

Dr.Cafe

At dr.cafe stores series for coffee there is a sign in some branches ( usually the branches which have section for females ) that says; Bluetooth use is forbidden. I know probebly you won't believe this so I tried to take a picture. But I couldn't, cuz there was another sign; No Camera .
the reason they have this signs is so we don't contact the girls or similar reasons ( medically we call it weridism ) . Ha'yah (Religon police) get advatage of this so they send patrols to Dr.cafe stores and I have seen this by my own eyes where they do a mass or selective search in which they ask for your mobile and check if your bluetooth working, if so you would have nice ride in thier fancy pimp like car .
A friend told me that once a Ha'yah member took a customer iPod and start messing with it as it is a mobile ...
